Way back in the olden days in our home town of Omaha, we had this thing called "FAC." These three mysterious letters stood for "Friday Afternoon Club."
In the doldrums of a long Friday afternoon you could guarantee that someone would eventually reach their limit and say - or even shout - "FAC!"
These irresistible three letters would fill the rest of us with longing and excitement - an early exit from work, a few drinks with friends, and a much needed break after a hard week.
FAC is quick and fun - it doesn't require your whole evening or a fancy outfit, it's just an excuse for an early hour or two of fun so you can easily transition into your Friday night activities and begin enjoying the blissful rest of your weekend.
So, with this spirit in mind, Elixery brought our beloved FAC to Minneapolis, where we celebrate this fine tradition every First Friday of the month. We drink wine, eat candy and snacks, socialize and pour lipstick (or whatever crazy cosmetic adventures we might cook up.)
We always say "bring a friend or make a new one" and it happens, folks, it really happens. Because FAC is kind of magical, a time out of time and a place out of place.
So join our club on the First Friday of every month at The Elixery Apothecary and get your weekend started right.

Directions: Park in the main lot and enter through the door that says "Research Laboratories." When you enter the lobby, you'll see two doors, one on the right and one on the left. Take the door on the right and follow the signs to Elixery.
